This workshop explores the crucial role of attachment energy, one of the Self’s inherent transcendent
powers, in fostering connection between dissociated trauma parts. Drawing from the Developmental
Model of Dissociation (DMD), we examine how early relational trauma fragments the Self and how
attachment energy within the Self can be reawakened to restore internal trust and cooperation.
Participants will gain embodied skills to recognize dissociative reactions, activate attachment energy,
and create internal safety. By enhancing this relational force within the Self, therapists can facilitate the
bonding of trauma parts and support the emergence of a cohesive, connected, and compassionate
inner system.
